The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce a new version of the North Carolina Statewide Automated Victim Assistance and Notification (NC SAVAN).

Fewer than one in ten victims of serious violent crime in the U.S. receive assistance from a victim service agency. Additionally, there is currently no central website or mobile application that lists services for all types of crimes. The new version of NC SAVAN launching this spring will help bridge this gap. The NC SAVAN Service Provider Directory will centralize agency information by offering a new, comprehensive directory of victim service providers in North Carolina. The new directory will greatly improve access to victim services for NC SAVAN users. It will be accessible by phone, mobile app, and internet.

By participating in the directory, your organization can connect with over 198,000 NC SAVAN users throughout North Carolina. There is no cost for your agency to be added to the directory.

Please click the “Join Directory” link to complete the survey.

We hope you will choose to be a part of this important new resource for crime victims in our state.
